I've added a new feature to the forum that allows members to update their status much like you would on Facebook! Whenever you update the status, it will appear on the in the side table as well as in your mini profile in all of the threads you've posted in.
If you were wondering how you can add a status update, all you simply have to do is access your profile by clicking "User CP" above. Once you've done that, one of the things you'll be able to see in your profile is the field where you can add text, links or images next to "Update Status". After, you'll notice that not only will that new status update itself on your profile under "Latest Status", but it will automatically refresh on the side table as well!
Here are some Do's and Don'ts for using the Status Update function on Brandy Central.

Just so you know, you can collapse the "Recent Status" table on the side by clicking on it.
"Recent Status" only displays the latest 6 statuses from members of the forum. Guests do not have access to update their status, you must register.

- Post things that you wouldn't mind the public of the community to see. For instance, What you're currently watching or listening to while you browse the forum, etc.
- You may post HTML links to your status, but keep in mind the ProBoards Terms of Use as well as Brandy Central's Forum Rules when posting links outside of this forum . To post links you may use the code as follows:

- You may post HTML Photos to your status, but keep in mind the ProBoards Terms of Use as well as Brandy Central's Forum Rules when posting images to this forum. Also, we have size restrictions in place. We ask at this time you only post smiley's and emoticons ONLY. To post links you may use the code as follows:

DON'T
- Post personal information about yourself or anyone you know (Example: Full name, Address, Phone numbers, Social Security Numbers, etc)
- While link and image posting is permitted, we would ask that you refrain from using the status updates to promote or advertise your own websites, blogs or social media accounts. That's what we have the 'Advertise' board for.
